The Chulalongkorn University offers three types of membership, ordinary, extraordinary and honorary. Graduates of Chulalongkorn University can automatically become ordinary members. Alumni must apply for extraordinary membership and must pay for a lifetime membership. Extraordinary members do receive special privileges such as a subscription to the Alumni News. Honorary members are selected by the association board from those persons who have provided special assistance to the association.
