The Bangkok Post (30th May 2009) and Matichon Newspaper (11th May 2009) named Chulalongkorn University one of the top 10 quiet places in Bangkok. The article, “Chulalongkorn University is 1 in10 quiet places in Bangkok” stated that, “even though the university is located right at the heart of the city and next to the noisy Siam Square, the campus is filled with quiet spots and peaceful corners where you can read, do your homework, or even take your little ones to play at. The campus is freely accessible to everyone. The most beautiful time to visit is in the month of March where the wide variety of flowers blooms abundantly and newborn birds chirp in unison.”
