Chulalongkorn University Wins Most Gold Medals at Thailand University Games Three Years in a Row

Chulalongkorn University once again achieved the most gold medals at the 38th Thailand University Games, or so-called “Chamchuri Games”, held during 15th – 22nd January 2011, with 51 gold, 36 silver and 40 bronze. This was the third consecutive year for Chulalongkorn University to win the most gold medals and its first time as a host, making the 11 total times as the most gold medal winner.
Swimmers from Chulalongkorn University won the highest number of gold medals with 24 from their 37 competitions. The last gold medal went to the football team on the last day of the Games, marking the second year in a row for Chulalongkorn University as the winner.
