Undergraduate Admissions Admission to Chulalongkorn University is highly competitive. Chulalongkorn University offers more than 450 degree programs covering almost every discipline. About 6,000 students are admitted each year into about 100 undergraduate programs. Currently, there are two admission systems. 1. Most of students are selected through Central Admission System managed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHE). In general, applicants must possess O-NET, A-NET and content subject scores according to requirements of each chosen program. The central admission system website provides up-to-date information about the selection procedure and criteria as well as the time-table for each academic year. 2. Chulalongkorn University also accepts a number of students through direct admission system for particular undergraduate programs which need to recruit students with specific requirements. The Undergraduate Admission website offers information about current admission offers, admission requirements as well as procedures and important schedule. Official information regarding academic calendar and tuition fee can be found at Office of the Registrar’s website. For applicants who which to apply for an international program, admission is also administered by the university while requirements are varied from program to program in order that students from international schools in Thailand and students from overseas can apply. Admission schedule is different from that of regular programs so as to reflect the variation in academic calendars. An international student interested in taking a non-degree program or a short-term course should contact directly to the faculty/college/school concerned.

Graduate Admissions Requirements for admittance to graduate degree programs vary greatly among them. Currently, more than 8,500 students are pursuing postgraduate degrees at Chulalongkorn University. The Graduate School website provides general information about graduate study and the admission process while each faculty/college/school website provides additional information and requirements. There are also some international graduate programs offered at Chulalongkorn University. Some research programs, although are not designated as international programs, are also able to accept students from overseas who can use English to communicate. Students should contact concerning faculty/college/school directly.

Exchange Students Under more than 300 academic agreements with worldwide academic institutions, a number of exchange students from abroad are joining Chulalongkorn University each year. Apart from general information provided at Office of International Affairs’ website, students from overseas who wish to apply for exchange programs should also contact faculty/college/school concerned for more details. Generally, application process is administered by Office of International Affairs
