Today, our world is advancing rapidly in technologies. Those who have graduated with degrees in science and technology are sought after by both the public and private sectors. To meet growing demands, Chulalongkorn established the Faculty of Engineering that also offers a number of programs and courses in technological science. These concentrate on providing students with a strong scientific foundation, theoretical and practical, to develop new equipment and systems, including computer programs and communication systems, that will benefit mankind.

To ensure students receive the very best education, the university has a full range of laboratories installed with the most advanced equipment and required materials. Furthermore, faculty members are all respected academics with a vast amount of experience and expertise to mentor students in their studies. To support this, the university has established institutes that include the Transport Institute and Energy Research Institute to develop future scientists as well as contribute to national and international development.
