The courses included under science are those that focus on the nature of our world and environments, both living and inert, or organic and inorganic. This also includes the study of biological and ecological systems. The goal of these studies is to gain an understanding and the ability to explain our world and evaluate our findings.

Science is very important to us all and has an affect on everything around us. Because of this, Chulalongkorn University has opened a full selection of science courses taught by the Faculty of Science to satisfy all students’ demands.

Chulalongkorn University has also opened various research institutes such as the Aquatic Resources Research Institute, Energy Research Institute, Environmental Research Institute, Metallurgy and Material Science Institute and the College of Petroleum and Petrochemical. By sharing the results of these institutes’ work, the university has earned a very respected reputation in Thailand as well as abroad.
