Center of Academic Resources The Center of Academic Resources (CAR) at Chulalongkorn University was established in 1978 by the integration of the three independent units of the University;- the Central Library, the Thailand Information Center and the Audio-Visual Center. But the history of the Central Library dates back to 1910 when the Civil Servant School was established and was later elevated to the status of University in 1917.
