To commemorate the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and pay tribute to her contributions the Thai Red Cross National Blood Centre is organizing a blood donation on National Mother’s Day, 12 August 2017 from 8.00 am – 4.00 pm. Everyone is also invited to sign their well-wishes for Queen Sirikit throughout this month at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, Henri Dunant Road. In addition, during this event, people can register for stem cell, eye, and organ donation as well as enjoy a traditional Thai massage, fortune telling, charity shopping and much more. Furthermore, blood donors will be treated to a free meal.
Interested persons who do not live in Bangkok can also donate blood through this event at their local Blood Center in the following provinces: Chonburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khonkaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Sawan, Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Songkhla, Phuket, the Thai Red Cross Society at Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Blood Centers in local/provincial hospitals.
