Chulalongkorn University Values Integration Program

The Chulalongkorn University Values Integration Program (CUVIP) is a short-term extracurricular initiative under the Center for General Education at Chulalongkorn University. It offers a wide range of learning activities open to students, staff, and the general public, with each session typically lasting 2–3 hours.

CUVIP aims to inspire participants, help them discover their passions, and develop essential life and professional skills. The program organizes events regularly each month, covering 10–12 different topics.

Aligned with the university’s policy to promote independent and well-rounded learning, CUVIP supports the development of students’ desired attributes and individual potential. It focuses on helping students explore their interests, gain new perspectives, and prepare for the professional world.

“Personalized Learning, Extraordinary Success.”

Role and Importance of CUVIP

Short-term extracurricular activities for general education, known as CUVIP, play an important role in student development, particularly at the undergraduate level. Through these activities, participants gain new knowledge, build on their existing understanding, and find inspiration for their future paths. These experiences contribute to the development of students’ qualities and potential, preparing them to become capable graduates and responsible citizens who can make meaningful contributions to their country and the global community.

Format and Characteristics of Activities

CUVIP plans and organizes a diverse range of activities, including:

  • Activities developed by instructors from both within and outside the university
  • Collaborative activities with the Office of Student Affairs, under the supervision of the course quality assurance unit
  • Experiential learning activities that emphasize student development through hands-on experience
  • Programs designed in collaboration with alumni, external organizations, and partners from the business and industrial sectors, both domestically and internationally
  • Opportunities for students from different faculties and disciplines to learn together

Through these concepts and operations, CUVIP aims to develop and enhance students’ capabilities in a well-rounded manner—encompassing knowledge, skills, experience, leadership qualities, and responsible citizenship—so that they can grow into graduates who contribute meaningful value to society, Thailand, and the global community in a sustainable way.
