Chulalongkorn University Wins 2 Awards at the Prime Minister Award: National Startup 2024
Chulalongkorn University won 2 prizes at the Prime Minister Award: National Startup 2024 in SITE 2024. The event was held on July 23, 2024, in Hall 1, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Acting President of Chulalongkorn University, received the awards from Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

The 2 awards won by Chulalongkorn University at the Prime Minister Award: National Startup 2024 include:
- Investor of the Year: Awarded to CU Enterprise to honor and recognize venture capital firms that have contributed to the growth of startups, supported the development of the startup ecosystem, made investments that impact the national startup ecosystem, and have been able to elevate venture capital investments in the Thai market to an international level.
- Best of Contributor in Human Capital Development: Awarded to Chulalongkorn University as a large organization with the potential to develop a skilled workforce and technology professionals, drive the enhancement of innovation and digital capabilities, and boost the growth of startups in Thailand.
The Prime Minister Award: National Startup 2024, now in its 8th year, is organized by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) to recognize and honor those who have contributed their efforts to promoting and supporting the development of the country’s startup ecosystem. The award also aims to strengthen Thai startups, enhancing their business potential and enabling them to enter international markets.
