College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Researcher Wins First Prize at 10th APMF
Dr. Wang Yuru, a post-doctoral researcher from the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, received the First Prize for Best Oral Communication at Asia-Pacific Menopause Federation (APMF) 10th Scientific Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The award-winning research is about “Premature Menopause and Cardiovascular Disease Risk in Asian Women,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramon Viwattanakulvanid from the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University.
The 10th APMF conference was held from July 25-27, 2025, under the theme “Revolutionising Women’s Health with Multidisciplinary Innovations.” It served as a platform that brought together experts and medical personnel from across the Asia-Pacific region to exchange knowledge and drive improvements in the quality of life for middle-aged and postmenopausal women.
Dr. Wang Yuru’s research was chosen from among over 60 abstracts to compete in the oral communication category and won the first prize, marking a success that reflects the potential of leading research from Chulalongkorn University in the international arena.
