Chula Pharmaceutical Sciences Students Win International Competitions in Kenya and Singapore

Chulalongkorn University congratulates the students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences for their outstanding achievement in an international academic competition, showcasing their knowledge, abilities, and potential on the global stage.



Mr. Kritthaphat Manasilp and Ms. Waranan Jiansuwan, fourth-year students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, won First Prize in the Pharmacy Profession Advocacy Campaign competition at the 70th IPSF World Congress 2025, organized by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF), held from August 7 to 15, 2025, in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya.
The congress also featured the General Assembly of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation. The assembly selected Thailand as the host country for the 71st IPSF World Congress 2026, to be held in Bangkok, co-hosted by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, and the Pharmaceutical Students’ Association of Thailand (PSAT). Mr. Kritthaphat Manasilp has been appointed Project Chair for this upcoming event.



Ms. Thanyanat Ruensung, a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, won First Place in the ISPE Singapore Hackathon 2025, organized by the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), Singapore Affiliate, held on August 27-28, 2025, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore. The competition provided a platform for university representatives from various countries across Southeast Asia to apply their knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, and business management. Participants collaborated to propose innovative solutions for improving pharmaceutical manufacturing systems. The theme for this year’s competition was “Sustainability in Pharmaceutical Water Systems.”
