Economics and Business – From the Start
The Master of Arts Program in Business and Managerial Economics (MABE) was the result of a series of intensive discussions among our founders with many academic professors, business people, and policymakers in various organizations, both in Thailand and abroad. The conclusion was that there should be a master’s degree program that combined an understanding in both economics and business and also designed to reflect the changing environment. Such a program not only became a viable alternative to traditional economics and business programs but also allowed access to more people who aimed to achieve practical skills from their education. Ultimately, MABE was established in 1997.
Expanding Opportunities
MABE accepts applicants with a bachelor’s degree from a wide variety of fields, universities, and nationalities. This practice expands the opportunities not only for those who would like to learn more about economics and business but also for students with different knowledge and backgrounds to share and gain new experiences from their colleagues.
