King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) laid the foundation stone for the university’s academic and administrative buildings, symbolizing the establishment of the country’s first educational institution.

King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) delivered a royal address at the first graduation ceremony of Chulalongkorn University.
