Student Government of Chulalongkorn University

The Chulalongkorn University Student Union (CU Student Union) is a university-level student organization that plays a crucial role in driving central student activities at Chulalongkorn University. It serves as a central platform for connecting the voices of students from all faculties to collaboratively develop a strong and creative university community.

The Chulalongkorn University Student Union is an elected organization representing the entire university’s student body. It manages and drives student activities at the central level, and coordinates between students, faculty, departments, and the university to ensure that activities are conducted systematically, efficiently, and in accordance with student needs.

The Chulalongkorn University Student Union has an administrative structure consisting of 10 key positions, elected by students from across the university. These positions are:
Student Club President
First Vice President
Second Vice President
secretary
treasurer
Student Relations President
Head of Arts and Culture
Head of Academic Affairs
Sports Chairman
Chairperson of the Social Development and Community Service Division

This includes student representatives comprising the heads of student committees or presidents of student clubs from various faculties, and representatives from Chulalongkorn University student dormitories.

In addition, the Chulalongkorn University Student Union may have other supporting departments, which vary depending on the agreement of each executive committee, such as a public relations department or a human resources department, etc.

The Provincial Administrative Organization plays a crucial role in promoting extracurricular experiences and creating learning spaces through diverse activities. Its main responsibilities include:

• Manage and support central student activities.
• Organize important university events such as freshman orientation, Loy Krathong festival, and the traditional Chulalongkorn-Thammasat football match.
• To represent the voice of students in reflecting their opinions and suggestions.
• Promoting collaboration among students from diverse faculties.

The Student Union provides opportunities for all students to participate in expressing their opinions, joining activities, and collaborating with various departments to create an open, vibrant, and growing university community.
