About

The Chulalongkorn University Museum was established to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chulalongkorn University and to reflect the university’s identity as the “Wisdom of the Nation.”

The museum serves as an important repository of knowledge, showcasing the university’s diverse academic disciplines and its role as a hub for distinguished faculty members, researchers, and students. Through its collections and exhibitions, the museum highlights the university’s contributions to education, research, and knowledge creation, reinforcing its standing as an internationally recognized institution committed to the pursuit of knowledge and the advancement of society.

Exhibition Areas and Zones

First Floor: Rotating Exhibitions

The first floor features the Rotating Exhibition Gallery, showcasing dynamic exhibitions and artworks created by students, faculty members, and staff. This space also hosts a variety of arts and cultural activities, creating a vibrant environment that encourages creativity, learning, and artistic expression.

Second Floor: “The Science of the University”

The second floor presents the exhibition “The Science of the University,” highlighting Chulalongkorn University’s academic excellence across a wide range of disciplines. The exhibition emphasizes interactive learning through participatory displays and multimedia exhibits, allowing visitors to engage directly with the content and gain deeper insight into the university’s contributions to knowledge and society.

Third Floor: Chulalongkorn University Park

The third floor features Chulalongkorn University Park, an exhibition exploring the university’s 90-year history. Through short documentary presentations, multimedia displays, and architectural models, visitors can discover significant events and developments that have shaped the institution throughout its history.

Fourth Floor: “100 Stories of Chulalongkorn University's 100th Anniversary”

The fourth floor presents “100 Stories of Chulalongkorn University’s 100th Anniversary,” an exhibition reflecting the university’s important role in the development of Thai society. It highlights Chulalongkorn University’s significance as Thailand’s first institution of higher education and showcases its contributions to knowledge, innovation, and social advancement at both national and global levels.

Arts and Culture Plaza

Adjacent to the museum, the Arts and Culture Plaza is an outdoor venue connected to the neighboring arts and culture building. The plaza hosts a variety of performances, exhibitions, and cultural events throughout the year, providing a lively space for artistic expression and community engagement.

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Closed on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays.
  • Free admission. No advance reservation required.
