Turtle and Softshell Museum

As the most comprehensive turtle museum in Thailand and Southeast Asia, this collection provides information on over 30 species from around the world. It features all native Thai species—including land, sea, and freshwater turtles like the softshell.

The exhibits showcase the unique beauty of each species through carefully preserved specimens, skeletons, and eggs. Unfortunately, many of these animals are endangered due to habitat loss, the destruction of nesting sites, and human consumption.

The museum organizes activities and exhibitions to provide knowledge about turtles and softshell turtles, including:

• Biology, conservation, and ecosystem roles are presented through engaging displays for visitors of all ages
• The diversity of turtles and softshell turtles in Thailand
• Knowledge about the biology, life cycle, and habitat of turtles and softshell turtles
• Environmental awareness on the protection and conservation of turtles and softshell turtles

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Closed on public holidays.
