About

Established in 1991 to commemorate the 153rd anniversary of photography, the Museum of Photographic Technology at Chulalongkorn University is the first of its kind in Thailand and Asia.

Located within the Department of Photographic Science and Printing Technology, Faculty of Science, the museum traces the evolution of imaging from its early origins to modern digital breakthroughs.

Visitors can explore the scientific interplay of light and color, discover rare cameras and equipment, and view exclusive collections donated by the Royal Family. It stands as a unique hub where the art of photography meets the precision of science for public education.
