About

Chulalongkorn University Dental Hospital is a leading dental service unit in Thailand, under the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. It provides oral health care to patients and the general public, and serves as a clinical training and teaching center for undergraduate and graduate dental students. Chulalongkorn University Dental Hospital aims to provide treatment to professional standards to support teaching, research, and sustainably address the oral health needs of the community. It is open to various eligible individuals, including those with universal health coverage and social security insurance, according to their entitlements.

Our Services

Chulalongkorn University Dental Hospital offers comprehensive dental services, ranging from basic care to specialized treatments through various clinics tailored to different patient groups. Services include:

  • General Dental Services : Oral health check-ups, fillings, scaling, and tooth extractions.
  • Specialized Dentistry : Root canal treatment, periodontology, orthodontics, and prosthodontics.
  • Pediatric Dentistry : Oral care and treatment for children.
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery : Wisdom tooth extraction, bone surgery, or dental implant placement.
  • Specialized Dental Clinics : Services available both during and outside of regular working hours, and provided by professors and specialist dentists.

Service Procedures

The standard procedure for receiving services at Chulalongkorn Dental Hospital is as follows:

New Patient Registration

Please contact the Information Counter on the 1st floor of the Somdej Ya Building.

  • Present your ID Card (or Passport for foreigners) to create a patient record.
  • Important: * Patients under 18 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian to sign consent forms.
  • For children under 7 years old, please provide a Birth Certificate.

Select a Treatment Clinic

Please contact the Information Point on the 1st floor of the Somdej Ya 93 Building to select the specific clinic for your treatment.

New Patient Registration
  • Proceed to the Medical Records Department to have your photo taken and issue a new patient ID card.

  • There is a 30 THB fee for the patient card.

Insurance & Coverage Verification

  • For patients wishing to exercise their medical coverage or insurance rights:

  • After completing your patient record, please contact the Eligibility Verification Point on the 1st floor of the Somdej Ya 93 Building to verify your coverage.

Collect Your Patient File

Please wait for the staff to call your name to collect your patient file.

Proceed to the Treatment Clinic

Go to your selected clinic and wait for the staff to call your name to receive your patient file.

Operating hours vary by clinic and type of service. General operating hours for our main services and various clinics are as follows:

Dental Service Clinic (For Students & Staff)

Operating Hours: Monday – Friday (Official Government Hours)

  • Morning Session: 08:30 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Afternoon Session: 01:00 PM – 04:00 PM

Special Dental Service Clinic (For General Public)
Monday – Friday
  • Morning: 09:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
  • Afternoon: 01:00 P.M. – 04:00 P.M. (Except Wednesdays)
  • Evening: 05:00 P.M. – 08:00 P.M.
Saturday
  • Morning: 09:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
  • Afternoon: 01:00 P.M. – 04:00 P.M.
  • Evening: 05:00 P.M. – 08:00 P.M.
Sunday
  • Morning: 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon: 01:00 PM – 04:00 PM
