Chula Celebrates 273 National and International Awards Achieved by Its Personnel in 2025

Chulalongkorn University, through the Office of Research Affairs, organized a ceremony to congratulate personnel who have brought recognition to the university at both national and international levels for the year 2025 (B.E. 2568). The event was held on February 10, 2026, at the World Ballroom, 23rd floor, Centara Grand at CentralWorld. Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, presided over the opening ceremony, while Prof. Dr. Pornanong Aramwit, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, reported on the significance of the event.

The ceremony was organized to recognize outstanding achievements and express appreciation to faculty members and staff whose distinguished work in academia, research, innovation, administration, and contributions to society has enhanced the reputation of both the university and the nation on national and global stages. Senior executives, faculty members, and staff from various faculties and institutes attended the event in a warm and supportive atmosphere, reflecting the collective strength of high-quality personnel driving the university toward becoming a Global University.
In 2025, personnel from Chulalongkorn University received a total of 273 major national and international awards. These included 61 individuals and 103 scholarly works at the international level and 33 individuals and 76 scholarly works at the national level. These honors included awards such as the National Outstanding Researcher Award 2025, awards for outstanding research and innovation, and recognition for excellence in academic and administrative leadership, as well as awards recognizing the significant role of Chulalongkorn University faculty members in generating knowledge and innovations that deliver tangible benefits to society.
The atmosphere of the event was filled with warmth and pride, reflecting the collective strength of personnel from Chulalongkorn University who work together to advance the university’s missions in education, research, and academic services. This aligns with the university’s vision of becoming a Global University that plays an important role in improving people’s quality of life and promoting sustainable national development.


The event also featured a panel discussion and experience-sharing by Chulalongkorn University faculty members who received the National Outstanding Researcher Award 2025. These included Prof. Dr. Pithi Chanvorachote from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Pungpond Rukumnuaykit from the Faculty of Political Science, and Dr. Sirimon Treepongkaruna from the Sasin School of Management.
The three researchers shared their research journeys and the ideas behind their success and offered inspiration to faculty members and staff to remain committed to producing work that is both meaningful and responsive to societal needs. The event concluded with a presentation of commemorative gifts and a group photo session. Senior university executives joined in personally congratulating the award recipients, while faculty members from various faculties and institutes were invited to take part in group photos. These included representatives from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, as well as other institutes and colleges of Chulalongkorn University.
