Chula Student Selected as Thai Youth Delegate to the 2026 UN ECOSOC Youth Forum
Chulalongkorn University takes pride in announcing that Mr. Soonyata Panurat, a fourth-year BBA student from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, has been selected as a Thai Youth Delegate to participate in the 2026 ECOSOC Youth Forum, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA. He was chosen from nearly 200 applicants nationwide.
Mr. Sunyata was selected by the Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to represent Thailand at this prestigious global forum. The event, taking place from April 14–16, 2026, convenes youth leaders and policymakers from around the world to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on inclusive development and youth empowerment.

During the forum, Mr. Sunyata delivered a statement calling for a shift from symbolic consultation to meaningful co-creation. His remarks highlighted the importance of translating global commitments into tangible local actions.
