The 166th ASAIHL Conference
The Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), Chulalongkorn University, and Srinakharinwirot University are proud to co-host The 166th ASAIHL Conference, scheduled to take place from 2nd to 4th December 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Higher education today stands at a critical turning point. The boundaries that once defined traditional learning—geographical, technological, and institutional—are rapidly fading. To thrive in this changing landscape, universities must look past conventional formats and drive a fundamental shift in how we teach, learn, and innovate.
Under the theme “Beyond Borders: Creating a New Growth Revolution in Higher Education,” this landmark conference serves as a global stage to address these shifts. The event will gather world-class academic leaders, policymakers, researchers, educators, and industry pioneers to spark essential conversations, challenge old assumptions, and co-create a powerful new blueprint for the future of higher education in Asia and beyond.

The conference will be held at Chulalongkorn University, located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Situated in a vibrant district, the venue offers seamless access to premier shopping complexes, cultural landmarks, and a wide range of international-standard accommodations suited for all delegates.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
The conference will be held at Chulalongkorn University, which is conveniently accessible from both major international airports: Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).
The venue is exceptionally well-connected to Bangkok’s public transit network, located just a short distance from both the BTS Skytrain (Siam or National Stadium stations) and the MRT Underground (Sam Yan station), ensuring a fast and convenient commute from anywhere in the city.
