Academic Gown

There are four types of academic gowns, three of which represent a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctorate degree. The fourth is the Royal Gown, which is reserved only for the King. The gowns, made from an attractive white gauze-like cloth, are trimmed on the edges with coloured bands of various widths, usually gold and black. The different colours and number of bands denote  the graduate’s degree level and faculty.

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
