Founded in 1996, the Chulalongkorn University Intellectual Property Institute (CUIPI) promotes the effective management of intellectual property rights in Chulalongkorn University, The institute supports the application of university research into various uses beneficial to society and industries, establishing a connection between the academics, business, and society.

The Chulalongkorn University Intellectual Property Institute is responsible for protecting the inventions and intellectual property of CU faculty members, researchers, and students.
