Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Asian Music Unit (AsMU) at Goldsmiths, University of London, proudly present a workshop on “Thai Traditional Music and Dance Workshop” and a unique concert of Thai music: “Embodiment and Sound: A Portrayal of the Traditional Music and Dance of Thailand” on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Richard Hoggart Building, Goldsmiths, University of London.
Experience one of the best performances of Thai music abroad, making this a rare and not to be missed event.
The free workshop will be held from 14.00-15.30 hrs. at the Richard Hoggart Building, Goldsmiths, University of London.

The concert will feature a special program performed by more than 20 musicians and dancers from the Traditional Music Ensemble, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University. Directed by the eminent National Artist, Dr Sirichaicharn Fachamroon, the performance programs include traditional singing, music and dance, accompanied by large Thai orchestras, including the Mahori and Piphat Mai Khaeng ensembles.
The concert will be from 19.00 hrs. onwards at the Great Hall, Richard Hoggart Building, Goldsmiths, University of London.
