International Symposium on “Non-Human Primates in Biomedical Research: Industry-Academia Partnerships in Solving Global Health Problems”

The National Primate Research Center of Thailand-Chulalongkorn University (NPRCT-CU) would like to invite all to the NPRCT-CU’s first symposium on “Non-human Primates in Biomedical Research: Industry-Academia Partnerships in Solving Global Health Problems”, which will be held at the Mandarin Hotel, Bangkok, from November 5-6, 2018.  The invitation is also extended to any participants interested in joining the center’s official opening ceremony on November 4, 2018 at The NPRCT-CU, Kaeng Koi district, Saraburi province.

The symposium sessions will be conducted by notable Thai and international researchers from all over the world to discuss their studies on various topics related to non-human primates and the application of the research findings to humans, including:

– Genetic Diversity and Biomedical Research with Non-human Primates

– Infectious Diseases Research with NHPs

– Drug and Vaccine Development Using NHPs

– Microbiome and Genetic Diseases in NHPs

– Non-communicable Diseases, Neuroscience and Bone Research with NHPs

– AAALAC International Accreditation and GLP Certification
