Prof. Pornthep Lerttevasiri from the Division of Art Education, Department of Art, Music, and Dance Education, Faculty of Education, has won the IP Champion 2024 for Product Design Patent, awarded by the Department of Intellectual Property. The awarding ceremony took place on August 16, 2024, at Samyan Mitrtown.
“Math Man” is an innovative toy that promotes basic mathematical understanding for early childhood children through play. It uses a Modular design with a human figure that has interconnected angles, linking to various accessories such as: dragon-dancing poles for counting numbers, a boat for balancing weight, and a puzzle clock with clock hands for arranging numbers.
