Chula Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Performs at ASEAN Week 2024 to Celebrate the 57th Anniversary of ASEAN 

On August 8, 2024, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Chulalongkorn University participated in ASEAN Week 2024, commemorating the 57th anniversary of ASEAN’s founding under the theme “Shaping the Future of a Sustainable ASEAN. “The event was organized by the (C Asean Center) in partnership with the Department of ASEAN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the ASEAN Association-Thailand, the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue, and Chulalongkorn University. Leaders and ambassadors from various ASEAN member countries were in attendance. 

In celebration of this milestone, students presented cultural performances under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pattara Komkhum, Chair of the AUN-AYCF of Thailand.  These performances were part of the MoU between five institutions: Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Burapha University, Prince of Songkla University, and Chiang Mai University.
