Farewell Event for Retiring Chulalongkorn University Staff from the Office of the University for 2024 

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the 7th floor meeting room of the Maha Thirarachanusorn Building, Chulalongkorn University, Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Acting President of Chulalongkorn University, presided over an event for staff members from the university office who are due to retire in 2024. The event also featured the presentation of commemorative gifts to the retirees with 40 retirees from 14 departments under the President’s Office being honored this year.

In his remarks at the farewell event, Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat expressed his sentiment of regret at Chulalongkorn University pending loss of such valuable human resources. He thanked all the retirees for their dedicated service and contributions to the university office, that they had long served Chulalongkorn University with great devotion, setting a good example and earning the respect and affection of their colleagues. The event highlighted the strong ties that remain and well-wishes extended towards all retirees. 

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
