Chulalongkorn University Launches CU Zero Traffic Accident

 

On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, Chulalongkorn University held the opening of the “CU Zero Traffic Accident” at the CU Museum. The project aims to help reduce the traffic accident rate, raise awareness and create a culture of safe driving among drivers in Chulalongkorn University.

Professor Dr. Narin Hiransuthikul, M.D., Vice President for Strategy, Planning and Budgeting presided over the opening session, followed by a talk on “Safe Driving in Chula” given by Pol.Sub-Lt. Suttisak Montienton from the Police-Community Relations section, Pathumwan Police Station.

From this project, the plan is to continuously have activities to promote safe driving, such as the campaign to wear helmets, training sessions for safe driving, and seminars and discussions related to road safety issues.
