“Good Things to See: Interesting Museums at Chulalongkorn University” Exhibition

The Office of Arts and Culture, Chulalongkorn University, cordially invites you to view the exhibition “Good Things to See, Interesting Museums in Chulalongkorn University” between October 2 – December 27, 2024, at the Exhibition Hall, Arts and Culture Building, Chulalongkorn University. Open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
The exhibition is a result of the cooperation between the Chulalongkorn University Museum, the Office of Arts and Culture, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Dentistry, the Center for Regional Learning Networks, the Aquatic Resources Research Institute, the Herbal Museum, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Veterinary Anatomy Museum, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Faculty of Medicine History Hall, the Tai-Kadai Museum, Faculty of Arts.
The content of the exhibition is about gaining knowledge and inspiration from the museum that can be shared anywhere under the concept of a portable museum, “Chula Museum in the Box,” which is the work of students from the Art Exhibition Program, Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University. They have gathered interesting highlights and knowledge from the museum to be packed in various boxes, such as in a suitcase, a 3D box, or packaging that is appropriate for the content of the museum, to make it easy to move and bring knowledge and fun to viewers in various places. The learning experience is designed through activities and hands-on activities that allow viewers to participate and learn by themselves.
The exhibition is divided into 3 groups: Objects or things which allow students to see the evolution or characteristics of things for study; Objects and things collected from research; and the third group, artworks, which include paintings, sculptures, and archival documents.
