Chulalongkorn University Student Wins Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine Competition, Set to Represent Thailand at the Global Hackathon at MIT, USA 

Chulalongkorn University extends its congratulations to Ms. Natchalin Kentaworn, a fourth-year Banking and Finance student from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, for winning first place in the Hackathon at the Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine project. The competition, held under the theme “Scaling Aged Care in Developing Countries,” took place from November 1-3, 2024, at Siriraj Hospital.

Ms. Natchalin received the Golden Ticket to participate in the MIT Grand Hack 2025, a global competition in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, in March 2025. 

The Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine Hackathon was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. The competition aims to foster innovation in addressing elderly health issues in developing Southeast Asian countries, with key problem areas including “Aging in Place” and “Geriatric Care.” Ms. Natchalin showcased exceptional innovation for eldercare, securing her victory in this competition.
