Chula’s Faculty of Medicine Hosts APRU Global Health Conference 2024 for Unity between Human and Environmental Health through Innovation and Digital Technology 

On November 4, 2024, at Meeting Room 1210, 12th Floor, Bhumisiri Mangkhalanusorn Building, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, inaugurated the APRU Global Health Conference 2024. The event, themed “Harmonizing Human and Planetary Health through Innovation, AI, and Digital Transformation,” began with welcome remarks from Prof. Thomas Schneider, Chief Executive of APRU. 

The APRU Global Health Conference 2024, organized by the Global Health Academic Administration, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, took place from November 4–6, 2024. Its primary goal was to create a platform for sharing insights and experiences, as well as presenting research and innovations aimed at advancing global health. The conference also focused on policy discussion and health management at a global scale. 

This academic event emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration as well as the need to elevate culturally inclusive medical services. It highlighted the role of digital technology and artificial intelligence in building sustainable and comprehensive health security to address the challenges in protecting both human and environmental health.
