Chula President Elected Chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) for 2025-2026 

Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, the President of Chulalongkorn University, has been elected to serve as the Chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) for the term 2025-2026. 

The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) is an organization established from a joint meeting of the presidents and rectors of 8 public universities in Southeast Asia, with Thailand being one of the member countries. Its mission focuses on academic excellence in teaching, research, and community service, and it also serves as a central hub for exchanging information through seminars that focus on academic and university development. Currently, ASAIHL has more than 254 member institutions in 28 countries.
