Chulalongkorn University received the royal commemorative pin in recognition of its role as a member of the organizing committee for the “Friends in Need (of PA) 2024” event. Over the years, the university has collaborated with the Friends in Need (of PA) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society, in numerous community-oriented initiatives to promote societal well-being.
In response to this year’s flood crisis, Chulalongkorn University joined forces with the foundation to assist communities in northern Thailand. Notably, in October, university executives, faculty members, staff, and students partnered with representatives from the foundation and Chulalongkorn’s Regional Learning Network Center in Nan Province to deliver computers and supplies to schools affected by the floods. Chulalongkorn students also helped restore flood-damaged schools by repainting and repairing facilities, showcasing the university’s dedication to serving society during times of need.

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
