On December 3, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Suradech Chotiudompant, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed Professor Dr. Tõnu Viik, Rector of Tallinn University, Estonia, and Professor Dr. Marek Tamm, Professor at the School of Humanities, during their visit to the Faculty of Arts to explore possibilities for academic collaboration. On this occasion, the Faculty of Arts, in collaboration with Tallinn University, organized the event “Arts Talk” at the Digital Humanities Center, presided over by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University.
The “Arts Talk” event featured two keynote discussions. The first, titled Phenomenological Approach to Populist Politics,” was presented by Professor Dr. Tõnu Viik and moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Kasem Phenpinant from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts. The second discussion, “What is Global Cultural History?” was presented by Professor Dr. Marek Tamm and moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Wasana Wongsurawat, Head of the Department of History, Faculty of Arts.
The event attracted a large audience, including academics and enthusiasts, who actively participated in the discussions.
