Chulalongkorn University partners with SE Life (Southeast Life Insurance) to expand life and healthcare coverage for university personnel and their families, continuing for the second year, along with an agreement with the Faculty of Dentistry at Chulalongkorn University to provide dental services to personnel without having to pay upfront, making the service more convenient to access.
On December 23, 2024, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Southeast Life Insurance PCL. (SE Life), authorized over 10,000 group insurance policies to university personnel and their families for the second consecutive year. Additionally, an agreement signing ceremony was held between the Faculty of Dentistry at Chulalongkorn University and SE Life to provide dental services to university personnel, allowing them to use their benefits without having to pay upfront for more convenience. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Mrs. Parittaya Sajjasila, Managing Director of SE Life, with Prof. Dr. Kanaphon Chanhom, Chulalongkorn University Vice President, and other university executives as witnesses.
Prof. Dr. Kanaphon Chanhom, Vice President, said that Chulalongkorn University prioritizes sustainable development of welfare, following policies that focus on building security in the lives and health of its personnel. This coincides with the university’s vision of “Healthy Living, Good Well-Being, Growth & Safety,” reflecting the commitment and dedication to caring for and supporting its staff in all dimensions, which is a crucial factor in enhancing potential and work efficiency that can lead to overall university development.
The dental services provided by the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, which personnel can receive and claim without having to pay upfront, is an especially important step in improving healthcare. This collaboration not only helps elevate the welfare standards for personnel but also serves as a model for cooperation between the university and the private sector in developing sustainable integrated welfare benefits.
Prof. Dr. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, stated that apart from showing positive collaboration between the education sector and the private sector, this signing ceremony is a milestone in Chulalongkorn University’s progress in welfare development for its personnel. This will be crucial in encouraging personnel to perform their duties to the best of their potential. The university prioritizes the health of its personnel, be it physical health, mental health, or oral health, all contributing to the overall quality of life. Comprehensive medical services, including dental services, are another example of the intention to develop welfare benefits that truly meet the needs of personnel.
This agreement will provide convenience and confidence for personnel in receiving continuous dental treatment without having to worry about upfront costs, which will help reduce the financial burden and increase the effectiveness of comprehensive healthcare.
Mrs. Parittaya Sajjasila, Managing Director of SE Life, remarked that this signing ceremony aims to enhance the quality of life and health of university personnel, marking an important expansion of cooperation between the two organizations in developing new service models that respond to users’ needs. The collaboration will also increase access to high-quality dental services conveniently and easily without upfront payment, further expanding opportunities to access quality healthcare services that are suitable for everyone. SE Life remains committed to developing life and health insurance innovations to create secure protection for policyholders and promote the well-being of its customers and the Thai people.
