“Chula Thailand Presidents’ Summit 2025”  Chulalongkorn University Brings Together Top Leaders to Shape Thailand’s Future 

Chulalongkorn University successfully hosted the highly anticipated “Chula Thailand Presidents’ Summit 2025,” marking the first-ever gathering of Thailand’s most influential organizational leaders. This groundbreaking summit highlighted strategic insights aimed at driving the nation’s future across seven key areas.

Held on February 3, 2025, at the Chulalongkorn University Auditorium, the prestigious event brought together distinguished Chulalongkorn alumni and thought leaders. They exchanged invaluable knowledge and experiences, outlining forward-thinking strategies to propel Thailand’s economic and social development in line with Chulalongkorn University’s mission to be “a world-class Thai university that transforms lives with intelligence, innovation, and a spirit of service.” 

The “Chula Thailand Presidents’ Summit 2025” was honored by the presence of Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, who who delivered special remarks. The summit featured a dynamic lineup of speakers, each addressing key aspects of Thailand’s future: 

• Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, President of the Chulalongkorn University Council: Future Thailand: The Comprehensive View 

• Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University: Future Thailand: Future Education 

• Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP): Future Thailand: Next Growth 

• Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Director, Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of Gulf Energy Development and Chairman of Advanced Info Service: Future Thailand: Energizing Society 

• Prof. Dr. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Commissioner and secretary, Securities and Exchange Commission; Dr. Artirat Charukitpipat, CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital; and Mr. Charoen Phosamritlert, CEO of KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos: Future Thailand: Sustainability and Well-Being 

• Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry; Ms. Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports; and Mr. Khajorn Srichavanothai, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior: Future Thailand: Policy and Governance 

• Ms. Nualphan Lamsam, CEO of Muang Thai Insurance; Mr. Rawit Hanutsaha, CEO of Srichand United Dispensary Co., Ltd.; and Ms. Maneerut Anulomsombut, CEO of Sea (Thailand): Future Thailand: Soft Power 

The event was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun, Chief Brand Officer of Chulalongkorn University; Dr. Thiraput Pitichat, Assistant to the President of Chulalongkorn University; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jessada Salathong from the Faculty of Communication Arts. 

Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing the university’s ongoing commitment to fostering leadership and innovation for Thailand’s progress.
