Chulalongkorn University Announcement Subject: Assistance for Students and Staff Affected by the Earthquake

Following the recent earthquake in Bangkok and other provinces, it is acknowledged that a number of students and staff may be experiencing difficulties, including unsafe accommodation, inability to return to their place of residence, or requiring basic medical assistance.
To support and alleviate the hardship experienced by students and staff due to the earthquake that occurred on 28 March 2025, the University has implemented the following initial measures:
- For those requiring temporary shelter, the University has designated Chula Sports Complex as a temporary shelter for affected students and staff.
Those who wish to use this facility may contact Mr. Nuttapol P. at 084-450-4250. - For those who need to remain on campus temporarily while awaiting the situation to stabilize, the University has arranged boxed meals and drinking water to be available on Friday, 28 March 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00 hrs, at the following locations:
– Chamchuri 5 Building Lobby
– Office of Academic Resources
– Chula Sports Complex - For those requiring first aid services, the University has assigned staff from Chulalongkorn Health Service Center to provide care at the front of Chamchuri 9 Building on 29–30 March 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs. If emergency medical assistance is needed, please contact 085-330-9877
- For those experiencing emotional distress such as anxiety, panic, or an inability to cope, initial mental health support is available through the “SafeJai” platform at https://safejai.sa.chula.ac.th/
Chulalongkorn students who require additional psychological support may also contact Chula Mind Hotline, a counseling service staffed by psychologists, via LINE OA: @cusw, available daily from 17:00 to 05:00 hrs.
The University kindly asks all faculties and departments to disseminate this information to students and staff to ensure timely and effective access to assistance.
