Guidelines Regarding Teaching

In response to the earthquake that occurred in Bangkok on 28 March 2025, and for the safety and reassurance of all university members, Chulalongkorn University hereby issues the following guidelines regarding teaching, examinations, activities, and operations on 29–30 March 2025:

  1. The University supports the continuation of teaching, examinations, and other activities in an online format where appropriate. Each faculty or unit may decide whether to proceed with teaching, examinations, or activities in their own areas. However, any on-site activities must first receive confirmation from the Office of Physical Resources Management that the locations have been inspected and are deemed safe for use.
  2. For staff required to work on-site, the University requests that heads of faculties or units ensure the safety of working areas in advance. The locations must be inspected and confirmed as safe by the Office of Physical Resources Management. If the safety of any location cannot be guaranteed, heads of faculties or units may consider allowing personnel to temporarily work from home or relocate operations as necessary.
