Chulalongkorn Strengthens Global Ties with Spain’s Top-ranked IE University—a Global Top 10 School in Marketing and Business 

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun, Head of the Department of Marketing, Chulalongkorn Business School, and University Spokesperson, led a delegation of marketing faculty members to meet with Professor Dr. Manuel Muñiz, Provost of IE University, in Madrid, Spain. The purpose of the visit was to reinforce academic collaboration between the two leading institutions. 

IE University, a globally renowned private institution based in Spain, is recognized for its excellence in marketing, strategic communication, and business education. According to the QS Business Master’s Rankings 2025, IE Business School ranks among the world’s top 10. Its Master in Strategic Marketing & Communication program is currently ranked 3rd globally, while its Master in Management and International MBA are ranked 4th and 8th respectively. 

Chulalongkorn University and IE University have maintained a long-standing academic relationship through student and faculty exchanges as well as joint initiatives at both the faculty and university levels. This visit marks another significant step in strengthening global partnerships, reaffirming Chulalongkorn’s role as a regional leader in higher education.
