Chula Communication Arts Student Wins Thailand’s First Gold Medal at the 32nd World University Games in Germany 

Chulalongkorn University proudly congratulates Banlung Tubtimdang, a second-year student from the Faculty of Communication Arts, for winning the first gold medal for Thailand in the Taekwondo men’s under-68 kg category at the 32nd World University Games “Rhine-Ruhr 2025” held in Germany on July 19, 2025. 

Banlung Tubtimdang, who previously won a Taekwondo gold medal at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, the People’s Republic of China, defeated Liang Yuchui from China with a score of 2–1 round, earning Thailand its first gold medal at the event.
