The president of Chulalongkorn University will complete his term in May 2020. The Faculty Senate would like to invite you to partake in the nomination process of the university presidency (2020 – 2024).
Step 1 – Thursday December 19, 2019, 09.00 am – 03.00 pm
Faculty members and staff (P1-P7) and civil servants (C3-C11) of Chulalongkorn University nominate three names of presidential candidates, at the nomination booth assigned in your organization. After the vote counting, the list of the top 6 will be announced.
Step 2 – Friday January 17, 2020, 09.00 am – 12.00 pm
The council shall invite all eligible candidates to demonstrate their visions and policies, and to answer the questions at the conference room, 2nd Floor, Chulalongkorn University Auditorium
Step 3 – Monday, 20 January, 2020, 09.00 am – 03.00 pm
Faculty members and staff (P1-P7) and civil servants (C3-C11) of Chulalongkorn University will choose ONE nominee from all candidates. After vote counting, the list of the top 3 nominees will be announced as the eligible presidential candidates.
The names of the 3 nominees from the Faculty Senate will be assembled with other nominees from various departments within the university, each of which can also nominate three persons. The combined list will be considered by the University Council committee, and later proposes ONE nominee to the Presidential Nomination Committee that will recommend the nominee to the University Council for further consideration.
