Competing under the team’s name SEEMA, the multidisciplinary group comprises students from four academic departments, including Urban and Regional Planning, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Integrated Innovation. Their selection places them among a handful of top teams from around the world invited to pitch their solutions at the final event during New York Climate Week on September 22, 2025.

Hosted in a hybrid format—both in person in New York and virtually—the final round offers teams the chance to win USD 15,000 in seed funding, a finalist certificate, and entry into a post-event acceleration program to further develop their projects.
