The Chulalongkorn University Social Innovation Hub (CU SiHub), in collaboration with MARS FLAG Corporation in Japan, announced the winning student teams from Chulalongkorn University at “Asia’s Next Innovator Ideathon 2025” on September 7, 2025, at the 1st main foyer of Visid Prachuabmoh Building.
Ideathon 2025 is a hands-on learning platform designed for students to develop innovative concepts for solving social problems that can be practically implemented and scaled up. It also promotes building networks among the new generation of innovators in the ASEAN region and fosters essential skills such as critical thinking, creative problem-solving, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration.

The Chulalongkorn University Social Innovation Hub, in collaboration with MARS FLAG Corporation from Japan, welcomes applications from Chulalongkorn students for the creative thinking and problem-solving skills development activity through the innovation process “Asia’s Next Innovator Ideathon 2025” to brainstorm and develop concrete approaches to solving social problems in Thailand. Participants also received consultation from regional experts (ASEAN and Japan) under 4 main themes: Healthcare, Agriculture, Tourism, and Education. In 2025, 12 participating teams from various faculties at Chulalongkorn University, including the Faculty of Communication Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University’s School of Integrated Innovation (BAScii), and the School of Agricultural Resources, signed up.
The event also featured a distinguished panel of judges from both academic and business sectors providing guidance and participating in the judging process. The panel included experts from Chulalongkorn University, namely: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pannee Cheewinsiriwat, Assistant to the President for Research Affairs, Dr. Santhaya Kittikowit, Deputy Dean of College of Public Health Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jittima Luckanagul, Director of CUiHub, along with experts from the business sector, namely Mr. Shinya Takei, CEO and Founder of MARS FLAG., Mr. Yojiro Koshi, CEO of Talentex., Mr. Toshiharu Igarashi., Director, Ai UX design laboratory of AIIT CEO of Augmented communications Inc., and Mr. Toshiya Matsuo, CEO office KOUYA for Asia’s Next Innovator.
