Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Confers Degrees to Chulalongkorn University Graduates for Academic Year 2024 on the Third Day

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Chulalongkorn University Auditorium, His Majesty the King graciously appointed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to preside on his behalf over the third day of the degree conferral ceremony for graduates of Chulalongkorn University for the academic year 2024.


Professor Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Council, and Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, University President, welcomed Her Royal Highness upon her arrival.
During the ceremony, Her Royal Highness conferred degrees to a total of 2,782 graduates in both the morning and afternoon sessions.













Morning session (1,577 graduates) included:
Afternoon session (1,205 graduates) included:
- Faculty of Education: 565
- Faculty of Architecture: 338
- Faculty of Engineering: 233
- Police Nursing College: 69
- One representative receiving an associate degree
- 102 recipients of academic excellence medals in bachelor’s programs
- 28 recipients of the Bhumibol Fund’s royal monetary awards and scholarships












As part of the third day of the ceremony, Her Royal Highness also conferred degrees to six Buddhist monastic graduates in a special audience room at the auditorium. These included:
- 4 monks receiving a Master of Arts in Pali-Sanskrit and Buddhist Studies
- 2 monks receiving a Bachelor of Engineering





After the degree conferral, Her Royal Highness delivered a royal address to the graduates. She then proceeded to the reception room of the auditorium for a commemorative photograph with faculty deans and institute directors.
Following the ceremony, Chulalongkorn University graduates participated in a tribute ceremony to honor King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) and King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) at the university auditorium.
