Chula—Thailand’s Sole Recipient of the Coursera Special Recognition Award 2025 for Excellence in Educational Innovation for Society 

Chulalongkorn University is the only higher education institution in Thailand to receive the Special Recognition Award from the global education platform at the 2025 Coursera Outstanding Achievement Awards, in recognition of its outstanding work in educational innovations for the benefit of society. 

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, received this prestigious award on October 7, 2025, at the Siam Kempinski Hotel.
