Chula and SEI Sweden Co-host Workshop to Strengthen Researchers’ Skills in Project Monitoring and Evaluation (MEL) 

The Chulalongkorn University Social Research Institute (CUSRI), in collaboration with the Chula Sustainable Environment Research Institute (SERI), the Chula Energy Research Institute, and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), invites researchers and development practitioners to join the “SEI–CU Co-Learning Workshop: Interactive Experience Sharing on Project Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)”—a hands-on learning program designed to enhance research project design and evaluation for greater efficiency and sustainable outcomes. 

The workshop will be held on October 20–21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Social Innovation Hub, Wisit Prachuabmoh Building, Chulalongkorn University. 

This interactive training emphasizes practical learning, providing participants with opportunities to share experiences and best practices in project monitoring and evaluation (MEL) with leading experts. Participants will also gain hands-on experience in designing their own MEL plans tailored to their research objectives with the goal of achieving meaningful and sustainable social impact. 

Key workshop topics include: 

  • Understanding core principles and concepts of monitoring, evaluation, and learning 
  • Applying practical MEL tools to real-world research contexts 
  • Developing MEL plans that enhance project effectiveness and expand social value 

Participants who complete the course will receive an electronic certificate (e-Certificate).
