Chula’s President Elected Chair of the ASEM LLL Hub for 2025–2030

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, has been elected to the prestigious position of Chair of the Asia-Europe Meeting Education and Research Hub for Lifelong Learning (ASEM LLL Hub) for the 2025–2030 term. His term will officially begin on November 18, 2025.

This achievement marks a historic milestone for Thailand, as it makes the country the first in Asia to have a representative serve as Chair of the ASEM LLL Hub.

The Asia-Europe Meeting Education and Research Hub for Lifelong Learning (ASEM LLL Hub) is an official cooperation network among higher education institutions across Asia and Europe. Established in 2005, its mission is to collaborate in advancing excellence in comparative research on lifelong learning, to develop evidence-based educational policy recommendations, and to promote mutual understanding between the two regions.

The ASEM LLL Hub also plays a vital role in facilitating cooperation and exchanges among personnel, researchers, and students between Asia and Europe, thereby strengthening the capacity and quality of higher education systems internationally in a sustainable manner.

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
