Chairman of the University Council Offers Key Insights on 2026 Global & Thai Economy at FTI Outlook Seminar
Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Council, delivered a special lecture titled “Navigating the Global Economic Landscape: Comprehensive Insights on the Global and Thai Economy in 2026” at the annual FTI Outlook 2026 academic seminar, “DECODING THAILAND’S INDUSTRY FOR THE UPCOMING FUTURE.”
The event was opened by Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, who also delivered the keynote speech on “Policy Vision for Thailand’s Economic Transformation: New Policies for Thailand’s Economic Overhaul.” The opening remarks were presented by Mr. Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries. The seminar took place on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at the Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Building 3, PTT Head Office
The FTI Outlook 2026 annual academic seminar is organized by the Federation of Thai Industries to present trends in the global and Thai economy, industrial economic forecasts for 2026, and strategies to drive Thailand’s economy under the new government. The event featured a panel discussion titled “CEO Vision: Leading Change for the Upcoming Future,” with speakers including:
